Handymen & General Contractors (1099)

Ant’s Handyman Services is expanding! We are a trusted handyman and contracting company serving both residential and commercial clients. From small repairs to larger renovation projects, we pride ourselves on quality workmanship, reliability, and excellent customer service. As we grow, we are seeking skilled and dependable 1099 Handymen and General Contractors to join our team.

Position Overview

We are looking for experienced professionals who can handle a variety of repair, maintenance, and light construction tasks. Projects range from residential handyman work to larger commercial jobs. This is a 1099 contractor position – you’ll have the flexibility of independent work while benefiting from consistent job flow through our growing company.

Responsibilities

Perform a wide range of handyman and general contracting tasks (carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, drywall, flooring, general repairs, etc.)
Manage assigned projects from start to finish with professionalism and attention to detail
Communicate clearly with clients and the Ant’s Handyman Services team
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
Provide your own tools, reliable transportation, and maintain proper licensing/insurance where applicable

Requirements

Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a handyman, general contractor, or trades professional
Ability to perform multiple types of repair/maintenance tasks with quality results
Must have reliable transportation and tools
Strong communication and customer service skills
Must carry (or be willing to obtain) liability insurance
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
